Here is a highly documented 3 owner Goodwood Green Corvette convertible with the highly desirable L79 350HP engine, 4 speed and 3:70 posi rear end. The car has a very nice body and frame. It was repainted in lacquer in 1998 and still looks great. The interior and engine compartment also look very nice. The car has been well maintained and drives like it should. The original short block was replaced by a GM dealer with a correct CE block in 1972, but the car still retains all of the original heads, intake and exhaust manifolds, trans and rear axle. The original protect-o-plate shows the car was delivered by GK Chevrolet April, 25 1967 in Downers Grove, IL and has been in the same area its whole life. The second owner purchased the car in 1968 and kept a diary of all maintenance and gas purchases from the day he purchased the car until his death in 1990. The records for gas purchases are so thorough they include the date, total cost of purchase, miles per gallon and even the gas station name! All of the maintenance on the car, including oil changes was done at either a Chevy dealership or a professional auto repair facility (receipts included).
